ARRIVAL INFORMATION

Planning Your Arrival

Access Codes / Instructions

We will provide you with an access key code before arrival. This will allow you to check yourself in to the property using the front door. Please ensure you have the code before you travel. If not, please contact us. There’s nothing worse than arriving somewhere new (potentially at night) and not being able to get in! If you are arriving after dark, we recommend using your phone light to better see the numbers to enter the code.

Check-in Time and Notes

Check-in time is 4pm. We can sometimes arrange an early check-in so please contact us if you will arrive early and we’ll do our best, without any promises. If you are arriving early, have a look at the Local Area Guide section. We’ve listed lots of things to do around the area – it’s time for you to kick back and start relaxing!.

There are outdoor cameras pointed at the driveway that allows us to validate the number of guests arriving matches the booking.

Getting Yourself Oriented

Overview of the Area

Welcome to “Casa al Lago”—our son’s special name for this unique place we love!

Come enjoy beautiful Fishers Lake- a clear, spring-fed lake that stretches across 327 acres and reaches depths of up to 42 feet. It’s an all-sport lake, perfect for everything from boating and tubing to swimming and fishing.

The area around the lake is a peaceful mix of full-time homes and cozy cottages, offering a laid-back, welcoming vibe. Just a short drive away, the town of Three Rivers is a small, welcoming city located in St. Joseph County.

One local favorite is Fisher Lake Inn, known for its lakeside views — it’s currently getting a fresh remodel and hoping to be back open soon!

Suggestions if you Arrive Early

Many guests will arrive before the designated check-in time.

The good news is that there is plenty to do. We often suggest that guests visit the grocery store and do a small shop. That will give you more time to relax once you’ve checked in!

There are also a few restaurants for lunch so why not relax and enjoy some of the local food!
We recommend popping over to US. 131 – Three Rivers for groceries and lunch, stopping at Hank’s Tavern on the River, Landmark Tap-house and Grille, or checking out Bullseye Marketplace.

If you’re all set on food, head to Scidmore Park, you can find playground equipment, the duck pond, and the Scidmore Park Petting Zoo.
